Event Description:

Dr. Peirce-Cottler is a Professor of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Virginia’s Pinn Scholar School of Medicine. In addition to her work as a professor at the university, she is author and co-author of multiple scientific publications and she serves as President for The Microcirculatory Society and Chairs the NIH Modeling and Analysis of Biological Systems (MABS) Study Section. Come hear how Dr. Peirce-Cotter’s work at UVA touches each area of STEM and how she impresses her own life lessons upon her students.
