Rioult premieres Jean de La Fontaine’s marvelous fables, including The Tortoise and the Hare and The Grasshopper and the Ant, with new music by Lehigh’s Paul Salerni. Plus, the company performs the moving Small Steps, Tiny Revolutions, about a boy aching to dance despite his father’s disapproval, commissioned by Zoellner and premiered in 2008. Local students will join the professional dancers in several fables.
