| Watermelon Bust 2012 Canned Food Drive (Multi-Day Event) End Time 5:00 PM
Watermelon Bust is Lambda Chi Alpha's nationally known event that is put on by Lambda Chi chapters to collect canned foods and monetary donations for the North American Food Drive. Each day till Friday, we will have a table set up till 5pm in TC. On Friday, we will have a table set up till 2:45pm. Each day we will be collecting cans, monetary donations, and selling tickets for our three nights of fun filled band parties! Thursday night we will have US Band, Friday night-Hunter Lawley Band, and Saturday night to close out the week we will have the band called PHIVE. We invite everyone out to have a great time and give you a time to enjoy yourself listening to some awesome bands! Hope to see you all out!! |
| Watermelon Bust 2012 features US BAND (Multi-Day Event) End Time 2:00 AM
The Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity would like to present the US BAND to kick off a great weekend for Watermelon Bust 2012! US Band will be playing. The Self-proclaimed "highest energy rock act in the southeast" certainly lived up to the hype from last years Watermelon Bust as they rocked out with an impressive setlist of 80's rock and will be looking to do the same thing. |

The month of April is nationally recognized as Sexual Assault Awareness Month. The SAVE Project will be hosting a campus wide campaign throughout this month to bring attention to this important issue. Please show your support and take a stand against sexual violence! |
| Kinetic Sculpture Display at Malone Gallery 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
The Department of Art and Design presents an amazing kinetic sculpture installation by artist—John Powers. The work of John Powers will be on display in the Malone Gallery from March 26 through April 27. There will be an artist's lecture and reception on Thursday, April 5, at 4:30PM in Malone Gallery. The public is invited and attendance is free! |

University of Miami Ph.D. candidate, Thaddeus McRae presents his studies on animal behavior. Studies of predator-specific alarm signals have focused on vocalizations, but eastern gray squirrels' alarm signals include both vocalizations and tail signals. To test whether their vocal and tail signals contain information about predator type, a series of objects to simulate terrestrial and aerial threats were presented to individually identified squirrels. |
