World Kidney Day Health Fair

Event Description
Temple Health is partnering with the National Kidney Foundation serving Delaware Valley, Gift of Life Donor Program, the NephCure Foundation and DaVita Healthcare Partners, Inc., to sponsor a World Kidney Day Health Fair. The goal of the event is to raise awareness of kidney disease, as well as to promote kidney disease prevention, education, research and support services. During the event, participants will be able to receive free health screenings, including blood pressure and body mass index (BMI) readings, to help determine their risk for kidney disease. There will also be cooking and Zumba demonstrations, health education, free prizes and giveaways and an appearance by Praise 103.9 radio personality Dezzie.
