Sounding The Alarm: HIV/AIDS At 30 Years

Event Description
In honor of National Gay Men's HIV/AIDS Awareness Day, Temple Gallery will be collaborating with Colours of Philadelphia. Colours is an education and advocacy organization for LGBT people in Greater Philadelphia. The event will begin with a community forum and dinner to discuss the alarming increase of HIV infections in Philadelphia. This forum will include information on HIV/AIDS prevention. Following the dinner there will be a mini-ball/dance. Cover charge for the dance will be $5. However, parked outside of the gallery will be an HIV and syphilis mobile testing unit. If you are tested at the unit you will be granted free access into the dance. Find out more information by visiting Colours' website.
