Event Description The Institute for Public Affairs welcomes Brandice Canes-Wrone, professor of politics and public affairs at the Department of Politics and the Woodrow Wilson School at Princeton University. Her discussion is titled "Judicial Selection and Death Penalty Decisions." Her research interests include political institutions, elections, political economy, judicial politics and the US presidency. She is the author of numerous articles in leading journals and the award-winning book Who Leads Whom? Presidents, Policy and the Public. She is principal investigator of the NSF-funded program Empirical Implications of Theoretical Methods and serves on the boards of the American National Election Studies, American Journal of Political Science, Journal of Politics, Public Choice and Presidential Studies Quarterly. |
