Event Description
Convocation is a formal induction for new students, freshmen and transfer students, into the academic community. One of the university's traditions, convocation signals the beginning of an undergraduate student's college career. The University President presides over this event with the provost. Senior administrators including undergraduate college deans, university officers, faculty and the student body president attend. Convocation marks the first time that incoming students will recite the Temple University student pledge. The event will be streamed live online.
