Event Description
Temple's Center for Social Policy and Community Development will recognize the achievements of community learners in various programs, including the Youth Employment Project, GED to College Program, Technology-Based Learning Initiative and the Workforce Education and Lifelong Learning Program. The achievements include attainment of the GED and/or national certifications in the field of medical office and accounts. In the tradition of the university, the graduates will don caps and gowns and march to the beat of Pomp and Circumstance. Surrounded by families and friends, the graduates at the CSPCD Graduation will also be honored by the presence of State Senator Shirley Kitchen.
