Event Description
Invited speaker: Joseph Allen Schroeder, Ph.D., Assistant Professor of Neuroscience, Connecticut College.
The Dawn Marks Research Conference commemorates the indelible mark that Dr. Dawn Marks made on students at Temple University School of Medicine.
Dr. Marks was a full-time faculty member of the Department of Biochemistry for 31 years. After retiring in 1999 she became Professor Emeritus. Dawn also was the Assistant Dean for Graduate Education from 1984 until she resigned from that post in 1998. Not only did Dawn value her relationship with students, she also was an award winning teacher at TUSM and an author of the widely used textbook Basic Medical Biochemistry, A Clinical Approach. This year’s poster session is a tribute to her memory by student researchers.
Join us to see the exciting research in which our graduate students are engaged. |
