Event Description
In addition to the gardens of the Ambler Arboretum of Temple University, Arboretum Director Jenny Rose Carey has a garden oasis all her own right in Ambler — Northview. From ponds, a sunset garden, shade garden, and an herb garden, to a xeriscape gravel garden, stumpery, cutting garden, castle garden, and winter walk, Northview — a four and a half acre Victorian property —is a tour de force in garden design that has been featured on The Victory Garden on PBS and in the Wall Street Journal. On June 12, visitors will have the opportunity to take self-guided tours throughout the many gardens, where garden experts will be available to answer questions about the various designs. The Ambler Keystone Chapter of the Woman’s National Farm and Garden Association will also provide tea and refreshments! |
