Event Description
The Ambler Arboretum of Temple University and Pi Alpha Xi, the national honor society for horticulture students, will hold a special Plant Sale on Saturday, May 7, at the Ambler Campus Greenhouse. The plant sale — an Ambler Campus tradition dating back to the early 1900s — will feature woody plants and perennials in portable sizes, hardy trees, shrubs, and vines, native plants that are attractive to wildlife, herbs, and hanging baskets. There will also be numerous “special plants” for sale to highlight Ambler’s special anniversary year. Garden books and garden tools will also be available for sale. Students, staff, and volunteers from the Department of Landscape Architecture and Horticulture and the Ambler Arboretum Advisory Committee will be available to answer questions. |
