Event Description Dr. Jonathan Niloff will give a presentation entitled "Starting a Business to Commercialize Your Invention." Dr. Niloff is founder, chairman, and chief medical officer for MedVentive, a software company that provides leading-edge technology solutions that enable physician groups, integrated delivery systems, health plans and self-insured employers to affect meaningful and measurable change in the quality and cost of patient care. Dr. Niloff has more than 20 years of healthcare experience as a practicing physician, medical director, professor, author and healthcare technology innovator. In his presentation, he will share his experience with bringing innovations to the marketplace. Topics will include faculty entrepreneurship, startup formation, lessons learned and strategies for success. Prior to forming MedVentive, Dr. Niloff was president of the Provider Service Network (PSN) for the CareGroup Healthcare System—an integrated, at-risk network of 3,000 physicians and eight hospitals that participated in some of the nation's first pay-for-performance (P4P) programs. While at the PSN, Dr. Niloff drove the creation of a powerful suite of inter-related business intelligence, patient outreach and P4P tools that were nationally recognized as best-in-class. Refreshments will be served. |
