Ambler Campus: Temple University Academic Advisor Appreciation Day

Event Description
Since 2005, Temple University has celebrated the work of its professional advisors, advising administrators, outstanding new advisors and faculty advisors by selecting an outstanding candidate in each of these categories. On May 2, the Office of the Vice Provost of Undergraduate Studies will present advising awards to the 2012 recipients in each category. Each winner will receive a commemorative plaque, a $1000 cash award and their names inscribed on a perpetual plaque housed on Main Campus. The May 2 event will begin with a “meet and greet,” followed by two concurrent professional development sessions. The Keynote Speaker for the 2012 event will be Peter Hagen of the Richard Stockton College of New Jersey. The theme for 2012 is “21st Century Advising.”
