Ambler Campus: Sustainability Lecture Series: Phil Ross — “Aquaponics: A Complete Cycle”

Event Description:
Join Temple University Ambler Horticulture major Phil Ross as he presents “Aquaponics: A Complete Cycle,” an overview and tour of the aquaponics program at the Ambler Campus. Aquaponics is a sustainable food production system that combines a traditional aquaculture (raising aquatic animals such as fish in tanks) with hydroponics (cultivating plants in water) in a symbiotic environment. Phil Ross’ lecture, which is free and open to the public, is part of the Sustainability Lecture Series sponsored by the Ambler Campus Student Government Association Sustainability Committee and the Landscape Architecture and Horticulture Association.
