Event Description
This "Brown Bag" workshop is for Temple employees who are “kinship caregivers” – grandparents and other relatives raising a family member’s child. Topics covered will include resources such as legal services, mental health supports, school based information, parenting services, support groups, childcare and more. The workshop will offer employees who are relative caregivers invaluable information as well as an opportunity to meet and talk with other Temple staff and faculty who are caring for relative children. This workshop is sponsored by the Family Friends Program at Temple University’s Center for Intergenerational Learning.
