Event Description Woodmere Art Museum has long been a beacon for Philadelphia artists. Now under new leadership and with a reinvigorated mission dedicated specifically to the art and artists of Philadelphia, the museum is even more focused on collecting, exhibiting and interpreting the art of one of the most fruitful artistic epicenters in America. Dr. Matthew Palczynski, curator of Woodmere, will explore the central place that twentieth and twenty-first century art will occupy in the future of the institution. His talk will focus on current and upcoming exhibitions that underscore the vitality of contemporary Philadelphia art. |
