Event Description
The Ambler Accounting Professional Society/Beta Alpha Psi are sponsoring the VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program) during the Spring 2011 semester. VITA is an annual community service sponsored by the IRS to assist low- to moderate- income families, students, and other individuals who want to file their yearly income tax returns for free. The organization is seeking volunteers to assist as tax preparers, quality reviewers, screeners, and other positions. No tax experience is required. Participating in VITA is an excellent way for students to support the surrounding community while also networking with some of the top accounting industry employers in the country. Information about the program and necessary materials will be provided during the December 1 information session.
