Event Description Albert Benzwie, one of Philadelphia’s most ardent supporters of new play development, co-founded the Chambers Theater in Israel and was the artistic producer and founder of the Theatre Center of Philadelphia. The Belly, a world premiere from emerging playwright G. Lloyd Morris, is being sponsored in part by the Albert Benzwie Memorial Fund at Temple University. Please join us to peruse mementos of Benzwie’s life, work and passion for the stage followed by a performance of The Belly in the Randall Theater. Parking will be available in Lot 10, located on Diamond Street between 11th and 12th streets for $12 cash. There is also often abundant street parking on the well-lit and populated streets surrounding Annenberg Hall/Randall Theater. |
