Event Description As part of the Campaigns and Elections Seminar, the Institute for Public Affairs welcomes Peter Enns of Cornell University to discuss "Incarceration Nation: Public Opinion and Its Influence on Mass Incarceration in the United States." Peter Enns is assistant professor in the Department of Government at Cornell University. For the 2011-12 academic year, he is a fellow at the Center for the Study of Democratic Politics at Princeton University. He is also a faculty fellow with Cornell’s Institute for the Social Sciences project on Judgment, Decision Making and Social Behavior and previous faculty director of Cornell’s Prison Education Program. His research has been published or is forthcoming in the American Journal of Political Science, British Journal of Political Science, Political Behavior, Public Opinion Quarterly and Presidential Studies Quarterly. |
