Event Description Join event sponsor the School of Environmental Design Alumni Association for a special trip to the U.S. Botanic Garden in Washington, D.C. Meet horticulture alumnus Jim Kaufmann ’94, Director of Horticulture at the U.S. Botanic Garden, and take a guided tour of the conservatories. After the tour, be sure to visit the First Ladies Water Garden designed by Temple University Associate Professor of Landscape Architecture Baldev Lamba. Then lunch on your own and enjoy other museums and sighs along the National Mall. On the morning of the trip, please be sure to arrive at the Ambler Campus Commuter Parking Lot by 6:45 a.m. to ensure on-time departure. Light refreshments will be served on the bus. Participants will meet back at the U.S. Botanic Garden at 4:30 p.m. for the return trip to the Ambler Campus. |
