Event Description
The Extern Program, which will run from January 2 to 18, 2013, offers students work experience/career education designed to aid them in making informed career decisions based on practical experience. Students accepted into the program are placed with an employer-sponsor for eight days (approximately 56 hours) and attend a hybrid class (half on-line and half in-class) for four days during the winter session. Students earn two or three credits for successful completion of their work experience and academic assignments. Applications for the Spring Semester Extern Program will be accepted through November 15. Applications may be obtained from and returned to the Office of Academic Advising and Career Development in West Hall Room 109 or e-mailed to you by contacting Lucille D’Emilio-Wilkinson at ldemili@temple.edu.
