Event Description
This research forum provides an opportunity for Department of Medicine fellows and residents to present their research and is a reflection of the ongoing research activities of the Department of Medicine. The event will include poster viewing and discussions, oral presentations and a keynote address by Guenther Boden, Laura H. Carnell Professor of Medicine in the Section of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism, presenting "Why does obesity lead to insulin resistance, inflammation and cardiovascular disease?” The program will conclude with an awards reception, including an acknowledgement of the generosity of the Kal and Lucille Rudman Foundation.
