Event Description:
Rotten peaches as a fuel source? It's a possibility! Scientists are currently researching many different alternative fuel sources to help reduce our dependency on fossil fuels. Learn more about alternative fuel sources on Wednesday, March 27, 2013 when Dr. Caye Drapcho discusses her research on biofuels from 1:20pm to 2:20pm in Marshall Parker Auditorium. Dr. Drapcho is a professor of Biosystems Engineering at Clemson University. She also has a Master's Degree in Environmental Management. Her current research focuses on the areas of sustainable biofuels and discovering alternative fuels from organic carbon sources, such as peaches. Sponsored by the Enrichment Series Committee.
