Event Description
The gates will open at 6:30 pm. Free admission. (Rain date July 31).
The fourth annual "Movie Night" will feature a new twist as fans and members of the community can vote for which movie they want to see on July 30. The choices include:
* Cars 2 (Pixar Animation Studios, rated G)
* Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted (DreamWorks Animation, rated PG)
* Oz: The Great and Powerful (Walt Disney Pictures, rated PG)
* Wreck-It Ralph (Walt Disney Animation Studios, rated PG)
To cast your vote, tweet your selection at @SBAthletics or leave a message on the Stony Brook Athletics Facebook fan page. Voting will run until Friday, July 5 at 5 pm, and the winning movie will be announced on Monday, July 8.
On FREE "Movie Night," concessions will be available and spectators will be able to watch the movie from the stands or on the stadium field. In addition, all moviegoers can enter to win a copy of the movie that will be shown, courtesy of Best Buy.
Moviegoers are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs or beach towels to watch the movie from the field of LaValle Stadium. |
