Event Description
Diversity Day/Strawberry Festival is an annual campus event that brings individuals from different backgrounds together to celebrate their cultures. Participants share in the many dimensions of their different heritages and lifestyles through music and dance performances, creative arts, and other cultural expressions. Student groups interested in participating and/or performing at Diversity Day should contact the Office of Multicultural Affairs.
The day also will feature a "Hands Across Campus" event coordinated by
the Stony Brook Compliments Student Group, held at 1:30 pm in response to
Stony Brook's support for immigration reform.
