Event Description
A rare musical experience takes place at Staller Center when Colin Carr, virtuoso cellist and artist-in-residence, performs all six Bach Cello Suites in two concerts over two days. Pablo Casals launched the Bach Cello Suites popularity in the 1930s and since then, master cellists, including Rostropovich and Yo-Yo Ma, have followed with their own interpretations, taking on the music’s complexities and challenges. Your ticket includes a reserved seat for both concerts.

April 21:
Suite No. 1 in G Major, Suite No. 3 in C Major, Suite No. 5 in C minor

April 22:
Suite No. 2 in D minor, Suite No. 4 in E flat Major, Suite No. 6 in D Major
