Event Description In recognition of the recent passage of Marriage Equality
and the Dignity for All Students Act in New York State, the repeal of
Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell, and the 20th Anniversary of Long Island Gay and
Lesbian Youth (LIGALY), the theme of the 18th Annual Long Island GLBT
Conference is "Advancing Equality: We’ve Come Far, but We’re Not Done
Yet," a conference for students, professionals, and community members of all ages to discuss the needs of the GLBT community, learn how to become better advocates, and create positive change. Registration is required to attend but Stony Brook students can attend the conference for FREE!
