Event Description
Stairway of Light: A Candlelight Vigil of Hope, is a vigil to remember all who have been lost to or been victims of bullying, racism, or violence of any kind. We are holding it on the 6th month anniversary of Tyler Clementi's tragic death, to signify that all those who have been lost are not forgotten. The vigil is a reflection of the Community Pledge. It is an opportunity for the campus community to come together and stand up to any discrimination in our community. Remarks and reflection on the recent and ongoing crisis in Japan by Dr. Charlie Robbins, Vice Provost for Undergraduate Education. |
