Event Description
Conference organized by the Alfonse M. D’Amato Chair in Italian and Italian American Studies

Conference Topic: 
The Theatre of the Mind, The Stage of History: Italian Legacies Between Europe, the Mediterranean, and North America on the 150th Anniversary of Unification

This conference is dedicated to Mario Mignone on the occasion of his 70th birthday and in recognition of his outstanding achievements as Distinguished Service Professor of Italian, founder and director of the Center for Italian Studies at Stony Brook University and editor of the journal, Forum Italicum. 

All are invited.  Free and open to the public.
