Event Description
Assessment is a crucial component of our educational landscape as Universities face increasing accountability and scrutiny from government, accreditors, and funding agencies.   Program assessment focuses on assessing student learning to determine whether students have acquired the skills, knowledge, and competencies associated with their program of study. 

To meet the needs to improve program assessment, a two-day hands-on  Institute will be held for the Stony Brook campus by Teaching Learning + Technology and the Stony Brook Learning Assessment & Enhancement Committee. The event will be facilitated by Dr. Daniel K. Apple, President of Pacific Crest Inc.
