Event Description
A children’s chorus recruited from local schools will join the Stony Brook Opera cast for this production of Humperdinck’s beloved classic Hansel and Gretel in a new chamber version by Kathy Kelly. The opera will be sung in English, and the accompaniment will be an ensemble of flute, clarinet, horn, string quartet and piano. Conducted by Timothy Long and directed by JJ Hudson.
