Event Description
A lecture presentation by Dr. Oneka LaBennett, PhD in Anthropology from Harvard University, Assistant Professor of African and African American Studies at Fordham University, and Research Director of the Bronx African American History Project. This program will focus on Caribbean girls and popular culture. Sponsored by the Department of Africana Studies, the Humanities Institute, and the Latin American and Caribbean Studies Program.
