Speaker: Dmitri Kharzeev, Professor of Physics, Stony Brook University

Topic: Chirality: From Ancient Egypt to Tomorrow's Technologies

Chirality (or "handedness") is a ubiquitous notion in science, from biology to the physics of the Universe. It holds the key to understanding many mysteries of the quantum world, and opens amazing possibilities for tomorrow's technologies. Dmitri Kharzeev is a senior scientist and the Head of Theory group of RIKEN-BNL Center at Brookhaven National Laboratory.
