Event Description:
The College of Business and the Center for Finance will host Robert DeYoung, Capitol Federal Distinguished Professor in Financial Markets and Institutions at the University of Kansas, as part of the Island Federal Credit Union Speaker Series. The title of his presentation is "The External Effects of Bank Executive Pay: Systemic Risk and Liquidity Creation.

Professor DeYoung is a world-renowned scholar in commercial banking and regulation. He is a co-editor of the Journal of Money, Credit and Banking, a Senior Research Fellow at the FDIC's Center for Financial Research, and the Director of the Center for Banking Excellence at the University of Kansas.
