"Last Call" at the University Cafe with Butchers Blind, Chris Connolly, and Bryan Gallo
Start Date: 12/12/2015Start Time: 7:30 PM
End Date: 12/12/2015

Event Description:
Join us in saying farewell to The University Cafe, the venue for the past ten years of shows in WUSB's Sunday Street Series. The building is closing and the Cafe will be no more. For our last hurrah at The Cafe, we're presenting some of Long Island's finest young musicians in a very special evening to benefit WUSB-FM and the Sunday Street Series as it moves to a new venue in January.

Butchers Blind, an Americana band from Bellerose who formed in 2009, have released two critically-acclaimed albums, and a new EP.

Chris J. Connolly, originally from Staffordshire, England, but now living on Long Island's south shore, was inspired by early American roots music and modern alt-rock, resulting in him crafting a unique style of writing and phrasing, evident in his debut album, Flying Lessons, released in late 2014.

Bryan Gallo, also from the south shore of Long Island, is a singer/songwriter who accompanies himself on guitar and harmonica. His debut album, The Party Guest, was produced by Pete Mancini of Butchers Blind with members of that band backing up Bryan.
