Event Description:
Ellen Gabler won journalism's biggest award, the $10,000 Livingston Award, for her report on flaws in the nation's newborn screening program. The stories led to reforms in hospitals and states throughout the country and won her the Livingston and several other awards. Gabler is an investigative reporter and assistant editor for the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. A native of Eau Claire, Wisconsin, Gabler graduated from Emory University and the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.

Admission is free and all are welcome to attend. Doors open at 7:45 pm. No tickets are required.
