Event Description:
Lecture/recital by Stony Brook Music Department doctoral student, Alicia Valoti on the Italian violinist-composer, Bartolomeo Campagnoli (1751-1827) and his op.22,41 Capricci for viola sola. Performance of viola works, the expansion of the viola technique and a dialogue with the audience on how much this Italian has offered to the music world.

Free and open to the public.
