Center for Italian Studies Book Presentation: Orange Peels and Cobblestones
Start Date: 11/13/2013Start Time: 4:00 PM
End Date: 11/13/2013

Event Description:
with author Rose Marie Dunphy

A coming-of-age novel that brings to life Italy during the early postwar years, Brooklyn during the 1950s and New York and Southern California during the 1960s, each location forming the backdrop for a unique narrative and complicated family life. Its multifaceted themes of adoption (How does a mother give away her own child?), the immigrant experience, and love and forgiveness make the book an excellent choice for book club discussion as well as individual reading. Free and open to the public.

Books will be available for purchase and autographing by the author.
