Event Description
Learn about the history and culture of Venezuela. Colonized by the Spanish in 1522, it obtained its independence in 1822 by key historical figures such as Simon Bolivar (known also as “El Libertador” or “the Liberator”). The Venezuelan people have a rich cultural heritage with authors like Romulo Gallegos and Andres Bello to the eclectic influences that make up its cuisine and music. More »
