End Date: 8/18/2017End Time: 4:00 PM
Event Description:

2nd Annual Medical Ethics Symposium
The opening segment, involving keynote and plenary sessions is designed to enhance physicians’ and other clinical providers’ knowledge and understanding of:
1. The ethical principles of autonomy, beneficence, non-maleficence, justice and fairness, and the ability to apply these principles in the clinical setting
2. The role of the Hospital Institutional Ethics Committee (IEC)
3. The role of Ethics Consultation Service
The second segment provides an opportunity to either participate in a Simulated Ethics Consult in the Sim Center or an Interactive Workshop/Panel discussion.
