Event Description
Please join Mark Sedler, MD, MPH, Chair, Department of Psychiatry and Director of CPEP, for the Grand Opening celebration of our new CPEP Facility.
This new 10,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art facility offers:
• Emergency psychiatric assessment and crisis intervention for all of Suffolk County, including
evaluation, observation, acute treatment and referrals
• 24/7 capabilities and staffing by all board-certified
psychiatrists, plus a team of psychiatry residents,
psychiatric nurse practitioners, and specialized nursing
and social work staff
• Triple the capacity of the former facility, including
a dedicated family waiting area and triage desk, separate areas for adult and pediatric patients and
extended observation rooms
• A new “fast track” program with private waiting area
and physician office
• Tour the new facility, meet our leaders, mingle with
colleagues and learn more about how the CPEP serves
our community.
