On the first Friday of select months, enjoy free admission and later open hours to the Cornell Fine Arts Museum. Visit our exhibitions and enhance your museum experience by taking in special educational programming and optional docent-led tours, demonstrations, or gallery talks. Light refreshments provided.
This Month:
March is Women’s History Month. In conjunction with Rollins’s other observations during this four-week period , Curator Jonathan F. Walz will give gallery talks for the exhibition Florida’s “Useable Past”: The Sunshine State and the Index of American Design. After providing an overview of the show, he will tease out the key role that women played in the origins and success of this popular Works Project Administration initiative of the 1930s and 40s.
