Orville Schell: journalist, correspondent, expert on China, is a well-informed and thoughtful observer of Asia and has contributed his expertise about China to PBS, NBC, and CBS, where a 60 Minutes program of his won an Emmy. His current focus emphasizes the Himalayan glaciers that are the source of water for almost every major river system in Asia and the fresh water supply for billions.
