Event Description: Keeanga-Yamahtta is Assistant Professor of African-American Studies at Princeton University. Cornel West has described her as "the most sophisticated and courageous radical intellectual of her generation." Dr. Taylor's recently-published book, From #BlackLivesMatter to Black Liberation, analyzes the political, economic, and cultural underpinnings of racial inequality in the contemporary U.S. Her writing has appeared in a variety of popular venues, including Ms. Magazine, The Guardian, Boston Review, Al-Jazeera America, and Black Agenda Report. |
