Steps for Starting a 501(c)(3) Nonprofit
This session provides a basic overview of the steps for starting a 501c3 nonprofit corporation. Participants will receive practical information about mission/vision, board of directors, bylaws, realistic funding expectations, and the process for Florida state incorporation and federal government tax-exempt status.
You will learn: to define a nonprofit to explore reasons to start a nonprofit to identify challenges and alternatives to starting a 501c3 nonprofit the steps required to start a 501c3 nonprofit, including federal and state filings and applications Date: Monday, August 8, 2011 Time: 4:30 - 6:30 p.m. Tuition: $40 - You may register one additional guest for free.
