Event Description
The
Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Florida provides a
"home-away-from-home" that offers comfort and care to families of
children being treated at local hospitals
and medical facilities. Ronald McDonald House is in need of in-house
volunteers for the two Ronald McDonald House locations in the area.
In-house
volunteers at the Ronald McDonald House help with the daily operation
of the Houses. Volunteers help check-in and out guests, answer phone
calls, take part in administrative
work and lend an ear or shoulder to families in crisis. RMH is currently
looking for volunteers for the following times:
Ronald
McDonald House located on the campus of Florida Hospital for Children:
Saturdays from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Sundays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Ronald
McDonald House located on the campus of Florida Arnold Palmer Medical
Center:
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday evenings from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Weekends from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
