Event Description Marie Arana, author of a forthcoming biography of Latin American founder Simon Bolivar, offers an informal discussion on the history of U.S./Latin American relations and the long trail of cultural and political differences that has brought us to where we are today.
July 5th will mark the start of an ongoing bicentennial celebration of Latin American independence, and this conversation will seek to explore--at least in an introductory way--that moment in time and its legacy in the hemisphere. |
