SummerSERVE @ Fern Creek

SummerSERVE connects students, faculty, staff, alumni, families and friends of Rollins College to continue their
engagement with the local community throughout the summer months. Volunteers are invited to partner with Fern Creek Elementary School to participate in a day of service, working with teachers and students in classrooms, as well as undertaking development projects at the school.

> Volunteers should meet at the Cornell Fine Arts Center at 8am; transportation will be provided.
> Please remember to bring water bottles and closed toe shoes (and a Rollins t-shirt!).

Resume Writing Workshop

Whether you are ready to write your first resume or you need to spruce up an existing resume, this workshop is for you. Internships, part-time jobs, study abroad, scholarships, career fairs and full-time job searches all require the best resume possible. Learn how to create a resume that will best showcase you, your background, skills and experiences. Bring a pencil and paper as you will want to take notes. Although not required, if you have an existing resume, bring that as well in case you have specific questions or want to make edits directly onto the page. This session is open to all Arts & Sciences, Hamilton Holt, and Professional Studies students and will last approximately 50 minutes.

Application Deadline: The Interactive Marketing Immersion Xperience (I-MIX)



August 4-8, 2013 | Denver, CO

The Interactive Marketing Immersion Xperience (I-MIX) is designed for rising junior and rising senior undergraduates who are considering a career in marketing. During the week-long intensive marketing program 30 students will be immersed in seminars focused on interactive marketing. The program is hosted by a leading company in the field and seminars are led by various marketing executives and a leading academic. Students will also participate in a career and resume workshop led by a premier career coach. After completing this program, participants will gain a decided edge in the marketplace.

• Week-long intensive program at the headquarters of a top company in the field
• Seminars conducted by senior marketing executives and a leading academic
• Admission to this program is highly selective
• $300 program fee due upon acceptance into program
• All program materials, housing and most meals will be covered
• Travel reimbursement of up to $500 is available
• Financial assistance available upon request and verification of need

Did you know you can earn 2, 3, or 4 credits by participating in an academic internship? Come to this session to learn more about academic internships, including how to get new positions approved for credit and how to register for the academic internship course.
