Event Description
Julian Bond has served more than four decades as a leader in the cause of freedom and equality and has been a first-hand eyewitness and participant in many of the Civil Rights watershed moments. From his student days to his Chairmanship of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP), Julian Bond has championed the disenfranchised. His lecture will provide the history and the continuum of failures and successes as America continues to be challenged with issues of diversity and inclusion.
