Event Description Habitat for Humanity Orlando has been chosen to receive donated products from the trade show True Value. The show runs Monday January 31st through Thursday February 3rd at the Orange County Convention Center North/South building.
This is a great source of materials and funding for our affiliate. The items donated by the show will be used in the construction of our homes and sold in our
ReStores. The funds raised at the ReStores help to ensure the success of our mission.
The convention center event is a huge undertaking, with hundreds of vendors and lots of amazing donations. The True Value trade show will be at the Convention Center for four days and will need over 100 volunteers.
Below is a schedule of shifts volunteers are needed to help confirm donations with vendors, gather donated items, palletize and wrap donated items,
and manage market carts. Volunteers must be at least 18 years old or older per Convention Center regulations. There is quite a bit of walking and standing and some heavy lifting but it is also lots of fun.
